Aryan Ashtiani better known as Mareux is one of a kind when it comes to music production. His dark sinister tracks have never ceased to amaze me.
His style of music production mainly the melody, rhythm and vibe is very reminiscent of the music from the period 1970-1990.
He had a major breakthrough when his 2015 cover of the song The Cure’s “The Perfect Girl” went viral on TikTok.
Eventually he gained a larger following and more of his songs like ‘Lovers from the Past’ went viral on Instagram, TikTok etc.
With the success of the cover song and his growing popularity, he shot a music video for ‘The Perfect Girl’ which also featured Violet Chachki, the winner of the seventh season of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
He was also invited to play Coachella in April 2023 and has enjoyed major success ever since.
