Alright guys, I know this is an old post but I thought I would let you know just in case you had missed out what happened before the fight of Conor and Khabib. As we know things got heated between the two fighters leading up to the fight.
Initially, there was an altercation between Khabib and Artem Lobov(who was Conor’s friend). Conor decided to attack Khabib and decided to smash the windows of the bus that he was on.
Conor and Khabib’s mutual hate for each other was pretty obvious. While, Conor obviously was wrong for attacking the bus like that, he exposed the shady past of Khabib’s manager and even took shots at Khabib for which Khabib had no answer in the press conference.
Conor talked about how Russian tycoon Ziyavudin Magomedov was locked up in jail by Vladimir Putin. Conor spoke about how Magomedov was invested in Khabib’s gym to let him grow as a fighter. Conor spoke about Kadyrov the Chechen dictator and how Khabib’s father had posted a picture of him and Kadyrov together.
Conor even took shots at the Ali Abdelaziz who is Khabib’s manager. He called him a ‘snitch’ at the end of the first press conference and then elaborated on why he said so on the UFC 229 Ultimate Media Day. Conor mentioned Noah while taking shots at Ali at the press.
