Dave Chappelle talks about why he walked away from 50 million dollars on Oprah Winfrey Show

Dave Chappelle was offered $50 million for a third and fourth show of ‘Chappelle’s Show’ on Comedy Central in 2006. Dave refused the offer and went to South Africa. I believe a lot of people were shocked after they realized that Dave had left a 50 million dollars on the table. Dave was at the peak of his career and his comedy show was doing very well and all of a sudden Dave disappeared from the public eye.

Dave Chappelle appeared on Oprah Winfrey Show to talk about what were the reasons behind doing so. Dave talked about people having a vested interest in controlling those who generate a large income. Some people even push a particular agenda or a narrative through famous celebrities or personalities.

According to certain conspir**y theorists Dave didn’t want to be a part of the system so he chose to run away from it. He was probably scared of the fact that people would come after him so he left for South Africa.

Some people even claim that Dave has not been the same since his return to the media industry and he has been replaced by a cl*ne. If you read the comment section of the videos on youtube, you will find several comments talking about it.

Now, it is not clear whether this happened or not, but it seems that a lot of people do believe it to be true.
